Release notes
What's new
The latest improvements to your CardRevive portal.
Already paid inspections stay off your remaining bill
When our team confirms your inspection was already paid, its base fee is excluded from new quotes and invoices. Cleaning, pregrading and other services are still charged separately where applicable.
Clearer grading reminders
Grading reminders ask you to decide before the deadline and explain how to request a fresh approval afterward. Decision cards show the expiry explanation once, and notification dismiss buttons are easier to tap.
Expired grading decisions stay paused
If your grading-or-return approval expires, your card stays paused for our team to follow up. The card page explains how to request a fresh approval, and the final reminder explains what happens after the deadline.
Late night replies follow the same checked process
If you get a reply outside business hours, it comes through the same checked staff process as a daytime reply. If a conversation needs a person, our team can mark it for human handling so later messages stay with the right person.
Card requests keep what you typed
When you ask us to halt work, change your preferred grader or report a problem on a card, the form now stays open if we could not save the request. It keeps what you typed and tells you what to fix, so you can send it again. It only closes once your request is saved, and the button shows while it is sending.
Payment reminders say the right amount
When our billing team asks you to pay an invoice again, the amount quoted in the email and text now matches what you actually still owe, and reminders are never sent for an invoice that is already paid, refunded or being reviewed. Only billing staff can send these reminders.
Faster recovery when an invoice cannot be saved
If a problem stops us saving your invoice after it has been prepared, we now cancel the unpaid invoice for you and return any credit that was set aside, instead of leaving it waiting. When we cannot confirm the cancellation, the invoice shows as under billing review while our team checks it, and you are never asked to pay an invoice we have already cancelled.
Tracking links tell you when the fault is ours
If a brief system fault stops us loading your card's share link, the page now says tracking is temporarily unavailable and gives you a Try again link, rather than saying the link does not exist. A link you switched off, or that has run out, still reads as not found.
Cancelling the last card closes a submission
When you cancel the last active card on a submission, the submission is now closed as cancelled. If some cards have already been dispatched, the submission closes as completed instead.
More reliable announcements
Announcements from our team now arrive more reliably. If delivery pauses, we keep track of completed emails so they are not sent again when delivery resumes.
Notification settings fail honestly
If we cannot load your saved notification settings, the page now says so and gives you a Try again link, instead of showing every email and text option as turned on. Your saved choices are left untouched until they load.
Valuation reviews after grading
Our team can now record the final graded value and review any uplift fee alongside your grading results. Any charge still follows your original pricing terms and appears on an invoice.
Fewer repeated progress updates
When we cannot confirm whether a progress email was delivered, we now check it before sending it again. This also helps prevent repeated return and dispatch text messages, while your card timeline stays available in the portal.
Your grading emails survive a temporary fault
If a brief system fault interrupts the check on your grading invoice, we now try again a few minutes later and still send your 'shipped to the grader' or 'grades are in' email, rather than skipping it for good.
Reworked cards get a fresh quality check before shipping
Cards sent back for rework now receive a fresh quality check before they are marked ready to ship.
Clearer invoice recovery
If a full submission invoice cannot finish issuing, it is now cancelled automatically and any reserved credit is returned. If we cannot confirm the cancellation, you will see it as under billing review while our team checks it.
My cards tabs load correctly for very large collections
My cards tabs and dashboard totals now stay accurate for very large collections, keeping graded cards out of In progress and Returned. Load more reaches every matching card, and grade sorting puts your highest available grades first while keeping unpaid grading results private.
Complete credit review after cancellation
If we waive paid inspection fees when cancelling your submission, the credit we review for you also covers eligible unused intake and restoration.
Quote links keep your place through sign-in
Opening a quote link while signed out now returns you to that same quote after signing in, even when your submission has a newer quote.
Credit stays visible when an invoice changes mid-apply
If you apply account credit to an invoice and something goes wrong while it is being saved, your credit balance is no longer quietly reduced. The portal now tells you the team has been alerted so they can restore your balance, instead of saying nothing was used.
More CardRevive sites linked from every page
Every page in the portal now carries a quiet footer with links to the CardRevive main site, the AI Card Grader, the Inspector, CardSurvive slab protectors, and the TCG Calendar (a joint project with The Card Hub Australia).
Return shipping after a quote decline
Your return-shipping choice is kept when you decline a quote, including when the admin fee needs review by our team.
Intake credit on cancellation admin fees
If we cancel your whole submission, a $25 admin fee may apply. Intake fees you already paid reduce it, so you are not charged twice. Fees awaiting credit review do not reduce it again, and an admin fee already on an earlier invoice is never charged a second time.
Fully waived cancellations can continue to return
A cancelled submission with all charges waived can continue to return without a new invoice, provided there is no earlier balance to pay. Earlier unpaid invoices still need to be settled.
Keep your details after a submission needs correcting
If a submission needs correcting, the declaration window closes so you can see the message and your saved details. Quick submissions keep your card count, tier and delivery choices so you can correct the issue and try again.
Payment-failed notices for fully-credited invoices
If a payment attempt on your invoice fails after its remaining balance has been covered, you will still receive a notice explaining that nothing is currently owed and no further action is needed.
Waived charges stay off later invoices
If our team waives inspection or return shipping charges when cancelling a card, those charges stay off later invoices too. Any remaining charges for your other cards can still be invoiced.
Clearer help with individual invoices
If your submission has several invoices, our team can cancel an unpaid invoice or resend its existing payment link. Your paid invoices stay unchanged, and resending never adds another charge.
Quotes respect cancellation charge choices
If our team waives inspection or return shipping charges when cancelling a card, those charges are left out of your next quote. If an earlier quote needs replacing, your approval stays saved while our team prepares the revised quote.
Pre-clean fee corrections
Pre-clean fees reflect work already started, including when you decline a quote. Our team can correct fees after withdrawing an unanswered quote or responding to your change request. Your original quote stays unchanged, and fees already invoiced are charged only once, including on older invoices.
Old pricing link retired
Restoration estimates and current service pricing now live under Estimate in your portal menu. The old pricing page address no longer opens.
Smoother Appearance settings loading
The Appearance page now loads without a brief visual glitch. Your theme choice is saved on this browser and stays applied when you return.
Admin fee choice on cancellation invoices
When our team cancels a whole submission, they choose whether to include the $25 admin fee on the cancellation invoice. It is charged at most once per submission.
Clearer pre-clean charges
If your cards need cleaning and pregrade analysis, you can now see the Inspection, Clean and Pregrade service and its per-card amount on your inspection invoice. This fee is separate from the base inspection charge.
Charge choices for cancellation invoices
When our team cancels cards, they can choose whether to include inspection fees and return shipping (postage and Australia Post Extra Cover) on the cancellation invoice.
Prepared invoices are easier to recover
If an invoice needs another attempt before it can be issued, our team can now finish the same saved invoice without creating duplicate charges. We recheck stopped or cancelled cards first, and the saved amount, applied credit and payment link appear in Billing when it is ready.
More photos per card
Our team can now document your card with several photos at once, so more detail can reach your card page. If one photo fails to upload, the others still save while the team retries it.
Card cancellations are easier to retry
If cancelling a card fails, your reason and acknowledged terms stay in the form so you can try again. Confirmed cancellations keep your card status and history together, and any eligible account credit remains subject to staff review.
More reliable return and grading updates
When our team retries a return or grading update, your card's progress and saved history stay together without duplicate updates. Cards returned without treatment can still be included in your return shipment.
Your saved return destinations are protected
Addresses chosen for existing submissions stay saved when you try to delete them, with a message explaining how to make a correction. If saving a new default address fails, your previous default stays selected.
Notification loading errors are visible and retryable
If your notifications cannot load, the bell and history show a clear message and let you try again. The bell keeps your last loaded updates and unread count, and counts all unread updates, including older ones.
Your card's specific risks are noted in the quote
Where our team spots a particular risk to one of your cards, it is now written beside that card on your restoration quote and repeated in the disclaimer you must acknowledge before approving. Those notes stay frozen with your quote, and later corrections need a new quote for you to review again.
Condition photos for every card
For new submissions, we keep front and back photos of each card at intake and before return, including cards returned without treatment. Our team can compare the retained originals when reviewing a condition question or claim. Previously lodged submissions and accepted terms are unchanged.
Review restoration risks before approving your quote
Your restoration quote now includes our full damage disclaimer and a separate acknowledgment before approval and payment. Previously approved quotes stay unchanged, and your Australian Consumer Law rights remain protected.
Clearer restoration risks and treatment approval
New submissions explain possible restoration damage, how declared value is used, and when we need your separate written treatment approval. Your Australian Consumer Law rights remain protected, and previously accepted terms are unchanged.
More reliable SMS delivery for international numbers
We now only send SMS to phone numbers we can confidently route. If your number is not an Australian mobile and does not include a country code (for example +64 or +1), please update your phone number in your profile so we can reach you.
Any unpaid invoice can now be cancelled
Our team can now cancel any unpaid invoice sent to you, not only one raised from a quote. Cancelled invoices stay in your history, cannot be paid, and return any account credit applied to them.
Clearer card name checks
When you add or edit a card, names containing only spaces now show a clear error. Extra spaces at the start and end are removed when you save. You can still enter names for unlisted cards.
Easier keyboard controls for card photos
Enlarged photos now keep keyboard navigation inside the viewer and return you to the photo you opened when you close it. The page behind stays still while you zoom or download.
Smoother detail panels
You can close and immediately reopen card, submission and invoice previews without losing your place in the list.
Clearer charges when plans change
If you stop restoration, your cards can still continue to grading. Any unpaid inspection and return-postage charges are sent as an invoice to pay, with existing billed charges checked to avoid charging twice.
Clearer restoration pricing
The free restorer preference now has its own section on Estimate, and quotes show readable service names without extra codes. When you build a submission on desktop, the running total stays visible as you scroll.
Clearer card progress and submission choices
Card lists now name your current progress step and clearly show when a photo is not available yet. Starting a submission has a clearer browser title and return choices, and the grading guidance now explains that grading fees are invoiced separately.
Card processing fee shown on your quote
Restoration quotes now show the estimated card processing fee before approval. The fee is waived for in-person or bank-transfer settlement, and the final invoice can be lower if quoted work is removed or already invoiced.
Clearer release notes
What's new now groups improvements by date, with clearer spacing and your usual portal navigation. Visitors can still read updates without signing in.
Quicker details and filters on mobile
Submission details and invoice previews now open in a panel you can close to return to your list. Cards and Submissions also have a Filter & sort panel, with search always within reach.
Card details within reach on mobile
Tap a card in My cards to open its details in a panel that slides up. Close it with the X to return to your list without losing your filters or place.
Helping the team see your messages
New messages and change requests now also notify your assigned team member by email, or an admin when nobody is assigned. Replies stay together in the portal.
Clearer inspection payment records
Separate inspection invoices now appear beside your restoration quote and invoice, so you can see their payment status. Inspection charges already invoiced are excluded from later restoration invoices, including when you decline restoration.
Keeping new cards separate from work in progress
Once work on your submission has started, additional cards go into a new submission. This keeps your original card list and charges tied to the work already underway.
Consistent inspection fees after cancellation
Cancelling a card now keeps its applicable inspection charges consistent between the revised quote and invoice. Restoration work on the cancelled card remains excluded.
Clearer quote requests and card lists
Your requested changes stay visible when a quote is revised, and requests reach the assigned restorer’s inbox. Cancelled cards now appear below active cards, with halted cards marked separately.
More reliable in-person payment records
When our team records your payment, your invoice and payment record now save together. Retrying a failed save will not record the same payment twice.
Clearer records for closed charges
Billing history now shows when charges are free or were already paid with credit. Those charges stay available for your records without another payment request.
Grading invoices ready to pay
Grading charges now arrive as an invoice in Billing, without a separate quote approval step. You can open the invoice and pay directly.
Clearer card count on quotes
Quotes now show the number of cards actually being worked on. Return shipping is no longer counted as a card in your quote summary or quote-ready email.
Approved quotes stay visible in Billing
If you have approved a quote and its invoice is not ready yet, Billing now shows Awaiting invoice. Your approval stays saved, and payment becomes available once our team has prepared the invoice.
Consistent submission tracking
Your submission tracker now follows your cards’ progress directly, keeping it consistent with the rest of your dashboard.
More reliable grading queue updates
Cards now stay in the grading queue until a grading submission is assigned, so progress updates better match what is happening with your card.
Clearer grading progress
Cards marked as awaiting grading before a company was assigned can now be corrected, helping keep your card’s progress accurate.
More accurate card progress
Cards marked as being with a grader in error can now be corrected before grading is arranged, so your progress stays accurate.
More accurate in-person payment records
Staff now confirm the amount received before marking an invoice paid. We also corrected a rounding issue that could put GST one cent out when removing a card-processing surcharge.
Safer invoice preparation
If we cannot check your current charges or fee waivers, invoice preparation now pauses for a retry. Your quote approval stays recorded while our team resolves the invoice.
More reliable approval updates
Approval emails and texts now retry separately when delivery fails, so you can receive a missing update without repeating one that already arrived. Updates also check that your decision is still needed before sending.
Fewer repeated payment alerts
A failed payment no longer sends repeated emails or texts for the same attempt. Alerts check your current unpaid balance first, so a payment already resolved does not trigger another request.
Cancelled invoice balances corrected
An unpaid invoice cancelled by our team now clears from money owing even when the payment provider keeps its original amount in the invoice history.
Clearer cancelled invoices
Our team can now cancel an unpaid invoice from its quote. Cancelled invoices stay in your history, cannot be paid, and return any account credit applied to them.
Fewer return updates
Cards dispatched together now share an email and text update for each submission, including when staff process them one at a time. These updates are grouped over about 20 minutes; tracking details still arrive straight away.
Safer invoice retries
If invoice setup is interrupted, your existing invoice and any credit applied stay protected while we check it. This helps prevent a second payment request for the same charges.
Clearer credit balances
Your credit balance now clearly says when no credit is available, including after you have used credit on an invoice. Your credit history stays available below it.
Clearer quote decisions
Restoration and grading quotes now use consistent labels and decision checks. If a quote needs our review, the portal explains this instead of asking you to approve the wrong type of work.
More reliable card cancellations
When our team cancels a card, its status and any pending cancellation credit now save together. Retrying an interrupted request will not create a second credit.
Restoring a card cancelled by mistake
When our team restores a card cancelled by mistake, its progress and any pending cancellation credit now update together. Credits already approved remain unchanged while our team reviews them.
Payment for separate grading quotes
You can approve separate grading quotes on the same submission close together and receive an invoice for each. Our team can also recover a missing invoice for the exact approved quote.
Your grading results, together
Grading results recorded close together for cards in the same submission now arrive in one email, with each card’s result and certificate number. You’ll also see one grouped update in your notifications.
Clearer records for agreed payments
When our team records an agreed full payment, Billing shows the amount accepted, its tax treatment and a paid-in-full summary. Any original invoice remains available as a separate historical document.
Clearer billing after payment
Paying an invoice now clears any outstanding approval request for the quote it covers. Quotes for separate work stay available for you to review.
Using credit after a part-payment
You or our team can use your account credit to finish paying an invoice after an earlier payment. Fully covered invoices show as paid. When money is still owing, your invoice shows the remaining amount and keeps the online payment option available.
More menu closes reliably
Clicking outside the desktop More menu now closes it even while the rest of the page is still loading.
Easier estimates on your phone
The estimate calculator has larger value and card-count controls, making it easier to adjust your estimate on a phone.
More comfortable forms and card views on your phone
Forms have easier-to-tap buttons, My cards fits your screen, and packing slips stay readable with all columns within reach. Credit information in the portal and emails now explains how to choose to use your balance on an unpaid invoice.
Navigation that fits smaller desktop screens
The top navigation no longer needs a scrollbar on smaller desktop screens. Extra destinations stay easy to reach in the More menu.
Easier invoice viewing on your phone
Long invoice descriptions now wrap without hiding their prices. Invoice actions are easier to tap, and you can open the related message thread directly when you need help.
Clearer submission confirmation on phones
The submission declaration now stays above the Messages button, so you can review and accept it without another control getting in the way.
Reliable notification read updates
If saving your read status fails, your unread badge stays visible and you can retry from the notification menu or history.
See your selected service at a glance
Selected service levels now have a clear check mark and bolder label in the Estimate calculator and submission wizards. Your choices and pricing work just as before.
Grading inclusions shown clearly
Grading choices and the Estimate page again show the exclusive ACE label and CardRevive-exclusive PCG service notes. Turnaround bands and prices are unchanged.
Steady navigation while you zoom
On your phone, the portal header, bottom navigation and More menu stay at their normal size while you pinch to enlarge your cards and page content. Long card names also stay within the page at normal zoom.
Enter your return cover amount
You can now type an Australia Post Extra Cover amount as well as use the slider. The same cover limits and pricing apply.
A clearer Estimate page heading
The Estimate page now matches its menu label. The calculator, service pricing and link to start a submission are unchanged.
Easier navigation on your phone
Home, Cards, Submit and Billing are now within easy reach at the bottom of the portal. Open More for the rest of your pages and account settings.
Share files in your conversations
You and our team can now attach images or PDFs to submission and support messages, including a file without a written message. Preview images, download the original files and retry a failed send without losing your draft.
Clearer grading turnaround choices
Grading choices show the grading company and its estimated turnaround band, without confusing tier names. Missing turnaround information is marked for confirmation. Card details distinguish grading from restoration estimates and reflect confirmed grading choices.
More reliable AI grade payment processing
If a temporary service problem interrupts an AI grade report purchase, its payment confirmation can be retried without creating another report. Your existing report and payment details stay intact.
Messages stay unread until they open
A conversation that cannot load now keeps its unread messages and offers a retry. New replies that arrive while you open a conversation stay unread until you see them.
Easier card tracking on your phone
Your card's progress now shows each stage clearly on small screens, including any grading step your card skips.
Notification history no longer leads to missing submissions
Older submission notifications now stay in your history as plain text when their submission is no longer available, instead of opening a missing page. If we cannot check a destination temporarily, the notification says so without removing the history entry.
Your lodgement notes stay with your cards
The notes you add when lodging a submission or an individual card now remain visible on its details page, so you can check exactly what our team received with it.
Inspection choices stay in step at check-in
When our team checks in your cards, they can now confirm or correct the inspection service and add Clean & Pregrade at the same time. Any correction updates the named per-card charges you see on your submission and quote.
Your return postage and cover are clear
Your submission and packing slip now show how your cards will come back, the return postage, the carrier cover amount on the return, and whether that cover is included or has an extra premium. If your cards are being collected, they now say clearly that no return postage or carrier cover applies.
Return addresses stay consistent when we help
Our team can now help correct your saved return addresses and the address selected for a submission. An address already chosen for a submission only changes when we correct that submission explicitly, and the same destination appears in your submission and packing slip.
Clearer AI grade report progress
Your card now shows when an AI grade report payment is confirmed and the report is still being prepared, so you will not be offered the same report twice. Processing, retries, completed reports and anything needing our review now keep the same clear status while our team follows it through.
Refund totals stay accurate while we check a payment
If a payment needs checking, Billing keeps the refund amount marked as Under review instead of showing $0. Once the payment is confirmed, the Refunded and Net paid totals update automatically.
Your signup details follow your confirmation
The name, phone number and return address you enter when signing up now stay with your account even if you confirm your email in another tab, browser or device. If an older or interrupted account is still missing anything, every portal page now tells you exactly what to add and links straight to the right setting.
Full restoration totals and clearer older pricing
The restoration calculator now includes the required mail-in inspection and your return delivery choice, with the same before-GST estimate as our website shown first and GST plus the final total directly below. Submissions lodged before 1 September now carry a clear Pre-Sep pricing label and show their original lodged estimate, so you can see that the amount remains on the pricing accepted at the time.
New pricing and submission limits
Restoration is now priced as a percentage of your card's agreed value with a per-card minimum. Quick grading submissions let you choose no assessment, a $10 per-card mail-in inspection, or Inspection, Clean and Pregrade for another $30 per card; Quick restoration submissions always include the $10 per-card inspection. 48-Hour Priority can be selected and lodged directly, for up to five cards per account each Sydney calendar week. Its 48-hour clock starts after the last of receipt, check-in and assessment. Anything you lodged before today keeps the pricing it was accepted under. Submissions are also locked once lodged, with a 24 hour window to withdraw one back to a draft.
Correct a counter drop-off from your portal
When you hand cards over at the counter, our staff enter them for you. You can now open that submission in your portal and correct the cards yourself, fixing a name, a declared value or a missed detail, for 24 hours after it is entered and up until we send you a quote. After that, message us and we will amend it for you.
Use your account credit yourself
If you have credit on your account you can now put it towards an invoice yourself, without asking us. When you approve a quote there is a tick box to use it, and any unpaid invoice has a Use my credit button with the amount you have available. Take some off and pay the rest, or cover the invoice completely if your credit stretches that far. Nothing is ever applied without you choosing it, and your balance stays yours until you do.
Your account credit is now applied by our team, with you
Account credit used to come off an invoice automatically the moment it was raised. It no longer does. Your balance stays yours until we agree to use it, and our team applies it when we prepare your invoice or afterwards if you ask. If you have credit sitting there and want it put towards a bill, message us and we will apply it. Your balance is on your billing page as always.
Dark mode reads better
We reworked how every colour in the portal is applied so light and dark mode stay consistent on every page. In dark mode, secondary text is brighter and the grading status chips are easier to read at a glance.
An expected return window while your cards are out for grading
Once your cards ship to a grading company, your grading page and each card's page now show an expected return window, worked out from the grading speed you chose plus shipping time in each direction. It is an estimate rather than a promise, and if we have a firmer date for your shipment we show that instead.
Grading results now receive an adjustment review
When a grading result changes a card's value, we now check it against the value and restoration pricing agreed earlier. If that review finds an extra value-based charge, our staff must approve it before it can appear in Billing.
The same six progress steps everywhere
Your submissions, cards and tracking pages now use the same six steps: Submitted, Received at CardRevive, In the lab, Sent to the grader, Back at CardRevive and Returning to you. Grading shipment details no longer change the wording from one page to another.
Clearer totals wherever you review your cards
Draft estimates, quotes, billing and packing slips now describe the same money consistently. You can see what a running submission total includes before the final step, and a quote keeps its summary and decision buttons at the top even when it covers many cards.
Drafts now look like drafts
Cards in a submission you have not sent yet now carry a clear draft label instead of showing lab progress. The card-count-only option is now called Quick submission, and grading submissions make clear that you choose one grading company and one speed for the whole submission after cataloguing your cards.
Delete an unfinished draft
You can now delete a draft submission straight from your submissions list, as well as from inside the draft itself. Deleting a draft removes it and its cards permanently, after a confirmation. Once a submission is lodged it can no longer be deleted.
Clearer navigation and notifications
On narrower screens, links that do not fit in the top bar now move into a visible More menu. Notifications now name the submission and cards they concern, group related card updates, and open the right place when selected.
New submission always starts a new submission
Clicking new submission now always begins a brand new one, so choosing grading can no longer drop you into an unfinished restoration draft, or the other way round. Start as many submissions as you like: unfinished drafts wait in your submissions list, each with a resume link, and inside a draft there is a start a new submission link that leaves it untouched.
More grading companies, chosen by turnaround
TAG and CGC have joined the grading line-up, and PSA is back with its full range of speeds. Each grading option now shows its estimated turnaround in business days and the price, instead of the company's own tier names, so you are choosing how long and how much rather than decoding names. PCG remains our exclusive partner service at a flat price per card. Turnarounds do not include transit times or customs checks to and from Australia.
A quick way to share your experience
When your submission is finished, your dashboard now offers a link that opens Google reviews for CardRevive directly, if you would like to tell others how it went. It appears once: follow it or dismiss it and it will not ask again.
A weekly nudge while a quote is waiting on you
If a quote we have sent you is still waiting on your decision, or an invoice you approved is still to pay, we now send one gentle reminder a week by email and, where we have your number, by text. Each one carries the link that finishes it: approve the quote, or pay the invoice. They stop as soon as you act, they stop by themselves after four, and you will never get two money reminders from us on the same day. You can turn them off in your notification settings.
Fewer, better emails: one update per submission
When several of your cards reach the same point at around the same time, you now get one email about the submission instead of one email per card. It arrives shortly after the last of them moves, so a twenty card package sends you a single note saying twenty cards were assessed rather than twenty separate ones. The notifications list in the portal matches, with one entry you can open to see which cards it covered. Anything that is about you personally still arrives straight away and on its own: quotes, invoices, payment receipts, approvals waiting on you, grading results, and the moment your cards are dispatched.
Signing up now asks for your address, phone and a username
Creating an account now asks for your first and last name, a phone number and the address your cards come back to, so we can reach you and return your cards without chasing you for details later. You can also choose a username, which is the name you appear under in messages with our team, and it is separate from your real name. Leave it blank and we will use your first name. If you already have an account, your dashboard will show you which of these we are still missing.
Message us directly from your portal
You can now start a conversation with us about anything that is not tied to one submission. Pick what it is about, such as billing, shipping or your account, write your message, and it lands with our team the same way a submission message does. Replies come back by email and appear in the message bubble alongside your submission conversations, so everything you have said to us is in one place.
Grading updates the moment your payment clears
Your cards now go out to the grading company on the next shipment whether or not every invoice on it has been paid, so nobody waits on anybody else. Once your grading invoice is settled, progress, movements and results appear straight away, including everything that happened while you were paying. Until it is settled, that part of the page shows the invoice and a pay button instead, and we send you a gentle reminder rather than an update. Paying unlocks the full history in one go.
Once your cards join a grading submission
A card that has been grouped into a grading submission now reads "Preparing grading batch" instead of "Queued for grading", which is what is actually happening to it. From that point it can no longer be cancelled from your dashboard, because it is being packed to ship. If you need a card pulled back out, message us and we can return it to the grading queue, where cancelling is available again.
A New submission button now sits at the top of every page
You no longer have to go back to your dashboard to send cards in. The New submission button is in the top bar of every page, beside the notifications bell, and on a phone it is the first thing in the menu.
Every new submission is now a guided step-by-step form
Sending cards for grading is a step form too, so both kinds of submission now work the same way: your cards, then what you want done, then how the cards come back to you, then a review of everything before you lodge it. On a grading submission you pick the grading company from its logo, then the speed, with the slowest and cheapest first and the price for your cards shown on each one. Having us look your cards over before they are sent on is optional and priced up front, and you can ask us to choose the grading company for you. You can leave partway through and pick up where you left off, and the review step shows every card, what we will do, and the total including GST.
Invoices is now Billing, grouped by what needs you
The Invoices page has become Billing, with tabs for what needs your approval, what is still to pay, and what is settled. Quotes waiting on your decision now sit alongside your invoices instead of being buried on the submission page, and the page opens on whichever of those is actually waiting on you. Your old invoice links still work.
Starting a restoration is now four short steps
The restoration form is a step form: your cards, then one service level for the whole submission, then what happens when the work is finished, then a review of everything before you lodge it. You no longer pick individual treatments card by card. Our restorers scope what each card needs when it arrives and we may call you to build a game plan, so you approve the real work rather than guessing at it up front. You can leave partway through and pick up where you left off, and the review step shows the full list, the turnaround range for the level you chose, and the total including GST.
Honest turnaround ranges instead of guessed dates
Estimated dispatch dates are gone. In their place, every submission shows its service level's turnaround range in business days, straight from our published tiers. When a date cannot be promised, we would rather show you a range that is true than a date that is not.
The portal loads your card photos about a hundred times lighter
Card lists and grids now load small preview images and fetch the full-resolution photo only when you open a card. Pages with many cards load dramatically faster, especially on mobile data.
Sign-in pages appear instantly
The sign-in, sign-up and password pages now arrive fully formed instead of showing a loading spinner first, and anything you type or your password manager fills while the page is still waking up is kept.
Password reset fixed, and a place to enter your one-time code
Emailed password reset links work reliably again, including links opened on a different device. If you prefer the one-time code from the email, there is now an "I already have a code" option on the forgot password page, so you no longer need to request a second email to use it.
Our emails have a new look
Every email we send has been redesigned to match the portal, with clearer buttons, a one-time code that is easy to find, and proper support for dark mode in your mail app.
Every date now shows in Sydney time
Dates and times across the portal, your tracking pages and our emails are all pinned to Sydney time. A few of them could previously show a date that was a day out.
One return postage option, with signature on delivery
Return postage is now a single tracked Express Post service that requires a signature, instead of a choice between standard and express. One known price, and nothing valuable is left at your door.
A home page that shows what is waiting on you
Your dashboard now leads with four destinations for your cards, submissions, grading and invoices, each carrying its own live figure and flagged only when it is actually waiting on you. Unpaid invoices and your credit balance appear there too. You can also send us feedback from inside the portal.
Grading, grouped the way it is actually sent
The grading section now lists one row per grading submission rather than one per card, with the grader, the tier, a single progress bar and an estimated return date. Opening a row shows only your own cards in that submission.
